NOTICE OF SPECIAL MEETING OF THE MEMBERS

TO BE HELD JULY 31, 2022

 

A Special Meeting of the Members of Mallard Pointe on Lake Granbury Property Owners Association (the “Association”) will be held on Sunday, July 31, 2022 at Pintail Park, located at 701 Pintail Court, Granbury, Texas 76049 (the “Special Membership Meeting”).  The Special Membership Meeting is scheduled to begin at 6:00 pm.  Please arrive at the meeting at least 15 minutes early so that your attendance can be registered before the meeting begins.

 

The purpose of the Special Membership Meeting is to discuss and vote on the following matter:

 

(1)  A motion to approve authority for the Board of Directors to contract with J.R. Masonry for the amount of $95,000 for the installation of a reinforced concrete and stone retaining wall around the perimeter of Pintail Park.  Funding will be provided by:

·        $10,000 – From current operating budget

·        $35,000 – From the 2021 bank account surplus transferred to the Reserve Fund (current balance = $185,000)

·        $50,000 – From a one-time Assessment of $291.00 per lot

 

The Board of Directors has enclosed a proxy form with this notice in the event that you are unable to attend the Special Membership Meeting and would like to designate an individual to attend such meeting in your place and vote on your behalf.  If you choose to use the proxy form enclosed with this notice, a blank line is provided in the proxy form where you may designate the proxy-holder of your choice.

 

The Board of Directors has also enclosed an absentee ballot with this notice in the event that you are unable to attend the Special Membership Meeting but would still like to cast a ballot on the matter to be voted on at such meeting. Please return executed proxy forms and/or absentee ballots to the Association in advance of the Special Membership Meeting at the following address:
